Pneumatic Float Switch

Pneumatic float valves are a buoyancy style level sensor with a pneumatic output valve.

The model kpfs pneumatic float switch can be ordered to have the pneumatic valve open when it senses a liquid level rising lr option or open when it senses the liquid level falling lf option. A manual valve actuator is provided to open the valve manually if desired. A non magnetic barrier tube effectively isolates the switch mechanisms from the controlled liquid. When water rises to a preset level in the sump basin the switch turns on and the pump starts.

Often used to extend and then retract a cylinder at different speeds these valves create two actions and have two exhaust ports which allows you to control the speed of each action by attaching a flow control valve to each exhaust port. The magnetic float switch is an air sensor for detecting liquid level inside a vessel. As the float moves it pivots the magnet.
