I just feel like the card would be a bit ridiculous if the entire cost were made null and void considering upcoming zombies even if specified for what would usually be aggro based.

This doesnt bother me because my grave is so full so ehh whats 10 extra.

So if you want to cast thrax for a sixth try even with rooftop storm it ll cost you 10 colorless mana.
If using rooftop storm in commander and having a zombie as your commander such as thraximundar or grim grin do you still have to pay the additional casting cost to bring them back onto the battlefield if they should find their way back to the command zone.
Search for the perfect addition to your deck.
As i was told by a friend since the additional 2 colorless mana is part of the rules in normally casting the creature from the command.
Would i still be able to pay 0 to cast him from command zone or will i still have to pay an additional 2.

The mana cost and converted mana cost of the spell are unchanged.
I ask because rooftop storm specifies that may pay 0 where other cards like the spoiled geode golem says without paying mana costs.

So say you have a thrax that s died 5 times and you play rooftop storm.
So before i go and through islands into my beloved zombies i was curious if rooftop storm completely nullifies their mana cost or just the generic cost.

He understands the ruling of the two cards with rooftop storm on the field and casting his general but his friends opponents do not understand.
Anyway would grimgrin cost 0 then 2 then 4 then 6 etc.
What i m asking is if my commander dies while i have rooftop storm on the field is he free to play or do i pay an additional 2 like i m thinking.
Rooftop storm only changes what you pay.
